DA Smith is busy drilling two core holes on a fly-project at La Prele Dam near Douglas, Wyoming. The holes are located on steep terrain on the edge of a tall cliff, requiring detailed planning and careful construction of a temporary platform to support the drill (DA Smith's Longyear HC-150 heliportable diamond core drill). All equipment was flown to the drill site using an Airbus AS 350 B3 helicopter.
