DA Smith conducts turnkey uranium and vanadium exploration diamond core drilling in the western U.S.  Our uranium drilling experience dates to 2013 at the Hansen–Taylor Ranch project near Cañon City, Colorado.  For surface drilling, we operate tracked rigs and durable support equipment capable of operating in rough and sometimes roadless terrain.  We are familiar with geologic conditions in many western uranium host formations, including the Chinle, Morrison, Wind River, and Chapin Wash formations.  Our expertise ensures smooth execution of drilling programs and maximal core recovery.

Underground, we operate multiple core rigs capable of short- to long-distance probe or fan drilling at any orientation.  Horizontal or sub-horizontal drilling from mine headings often can offer a cost effective means for adjacent resource or reserve definition.  Where precise directional control or targeting is required, DA Smith has the capability to core continuously at any angle with a state-of-the-art directional, steerable wireline coring system.

DA Smith operates under defined chain-of-custody protocols that comply with NI 43-101, SK 1300, and JORC reporting standards.
