Wasatch Peak Ranch is a world-class private ski resort and ski and golf community under development in Utah's spectacular Wasatch Mountains. In 2021, DA Smith was retained by Wasatch Peak Ranch and Whitaker Construction to provide geotechnical drilling services in support of multi-year infrastructure development. DA Smith completed more than 100 geotechnical borings ranging from shallow to more than 300 feet deep across the mountain during a near-continuous drilling campaign spanning May 2021 through December 2022 with one to two tracked drill rigs.
DA Smith is slated to continue drilling at road-access and roadless sites through 2023.
